Danny Johnston

Danny Johnston is President of Gladiator Technology, A ProfitStars Solution. In his key role, Johnston oversees the strategic direction, financial management, and marketing efforts for the company.

With an impressive 30 years of business experience in the financial services industry, Johnston is skilled at helping customers make well-informed, solid technology decisions in defining financial institution network and Internet security requirements. Johnston guides strategy implementations that better equip banks and credit unions with the proper resources to meet federal requirements and achieve maximum information security levels.

Earlier in his career, Johnston was a founding partner in Coin Banking Systems in Norcross, Georgia, where he served as Senior Vice-President of Client Services. The company served over 400 customers nation-wide and developed software specifically for financial institutions.

A well-known expert in his field, Johnston is a sought-after speaker on topics regarding information security, risk assessments, and financial regulatory expectations. Recent speaking engagements include presenting at the 2007 SE Bank Management Conference as a member of the Terry Business School Technology Panel, at the Fidelity Users Group meeting in February 2007, and at the Georgia Bankers Association (GBA) Security Conference and GBA Operations and Technology Conference in 2006.

Johnston sits on several boards of directors for financial services companies. Also, he has served on the faculty of training schools that teach technology-related topics for financial institution associations in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, and for the Independent Community Bankers Association (ICBA).

Johnston holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Georgia Southern University. He currently serves as a Director on the Advisory Board for the Georgia Southern Information Technology School, and also served on the board of the Georgia Bankers Association from 2002-2004.

Mike Bell

Mike Bell is the National Sales Manager for Gladiator Technology, A ProfitStars Solution. In this key role, Bell manages the sales team while he cultivates new business relationships with community banks and credit unions nation-wide.

With over 16 years of business experience in the financial services industry, Bell's extensive market knowledge and leadership skills have helped position Gladiator Technology as an industry leader. He has successfully leveraged his extensive financial industry background to build a nationwide client base for the company.

Prior to joining Gladiator Technology, Bell provided technology solutions to financial institutions throughout the United States. He began his career as a technical engineer with the Financial Services Division of First Financial Management Corporation, which was later acquired by FiServ, Inc. While at FiServ, Bell served as the Regional Sales Executive for the company's Integration Services Division, providing core data processing infrastructure solutions to financial institutions. Earlier in his career, Bell held a position at Unisys as a Regional Sales Executive.

Bell holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in business information systems from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia.

Jackie Marshall

Jackie Marshall is Director of IT Regulatory Compliance for Gladiator Technology, A ProfitStars Solution. In her key role, Marshall develops and maintains IT regulatory/compliance-oriented products and services for financial institutions throughout the nation.

With over 22 years of business experience in the financial services industry, Marshall has extensive knowledge regarding IT regulatory compliance. As a recognized expert, she skillfully guides clients through state and federal compliance regulations, industry standards, and audit recommendations for IT and security issues.

Earlier in her career, Marshall worked with Coin Banking Systems in Norcross, Georgia for 10 years as a banking consultant. In this capacity, Marshall headed project management, training, and compliance consulting for software applications.

As an expert in her field, Marshall is a sought-after speaker on a wide range of topics regarding information security regulatory compliance. Presentation topics include Effective Information Security Management, Mitigating Risk and Meeting Regulatory Expectations, and Information Security Training for Bank Personnel. She also provides webcasts on topics such as Multi-Factor Authentication, Information Security Compliance, FDIC IT exams, and IT Compliance.

Recently, Marshall co-hosted a Georgia Bankers Association (GBA) regulatory workshop in February 2007. Also, she was the keynote speaker at the Jack Henry & Associates Silverlake Mid-South Conference in the spring of 2006. She lectured at the Independent Community Bankers of America National Conference in 2006 and at the GBA Operations and Technology School over the past three years.

Marshall holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia in Athens. She authors a bi-monthly newsletter, Compliance Trends, to target current IT regulatory compliance issues facing community financial institutions.

Matt Riley

Matt Riley is Chief Information Officer for Gladiator Technology, A ProfitStars Solution. In his key role, Riley manages enterprise security for the company, oversees strategic direction for new product and service offerings, and cultivates strong relationships with clients and strategic partners.

With over 8 years of experience in the financial services and information security industries, Riley is adept at providing professional security advice to clients regarding appropriate security practices and regulatory requirements. Riley is not only a regarded authority in his field, but also is respected as an educator who speaks on topics covering information security, incident response, and host intrusion prevention.

Before becoming CIO, Riley served as Gladiator Technology's VP of Security and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that, he was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the 24x7x365 Gladiator Operations Center. Before joining Gladiator, Riley worked as a Senior Systems Engineer and also as a Security Consultant where his responsibilities included security and network consulting, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and network integration and implementation for financial institutions.

Riley holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management information systems from the University of Georgia. His professional certifications include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Management Professional (ISSMP), and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designations.

Riley is a member of several professional trade associations, including the FBI Infragard, the Information Systems Security Association, the Information Systems and Audit Control Association, and the Phishing Investigation Reporting and Termination Squad.
